Car Alarms

Car alarms should be made illegal. The valley in which I live operates like an echo chamber and it seems like many vehicles in it are alarmed. I'm yet to see evidence as to if endless repeating high-pitched noises actually stop theft and vandalism. Such noises are very upsetting to AS people, we who love our relative peace and quiet. When I hear car alarms it incites me to theft and vandalism, as I want to smash the car window, rip the alarm out, wreck it and throw it away.
